Some helpful hints when planning your project:
- A good way to get ideas for your kitchen or bathroom project is to look at magazines and browse the Internet. Online photo galleries are a great place to look at what other people have done. Check out our photo gallery for ideas of your own.
- Start planning early so you have adequate time to contemplate your choices.
- Come up with a budget you can live with and afford. This will help us advise you in the direction you need to go to stay within what you can afford.
- The most used room in your home could easily be your kitchen. Make sure you pick cabinetry that will have lasting impressions, long after installation.
- Bathrooms are known to hold high resell value. A bathroom with nice cabinets, makes a statement.
- Draw a rough sketch of your floor plan, take measurements and bring along to your appointment.
- Consider space saving lazy susans, appliance garages or corner cabinets.
- If your view outside the kitchen window is less than desireable, consider moving the sink to a center island.
- Lighting is very important in a kitchen. Instead of relying on one overhead light fixture, consider today's lighting choices to help brighten your kitchen.
- Plan where you would like your appliances and make sure they don't interfere with open cabinet doors.
