Quick Tips to Upgrade Your Kitchen While Keeping to a Budget

When you want to upgrade your kitchen, you may start to feel overwhelmed by dollar signs very early on in the process. It’s true that an entire kitchen remodel is not going to go easy on your wallet. However, most of the time, homeowners will be happy with a few small changes. You’d be surprised how making a few tweaks can breathe new life into the heart of your home!

A kitchen makeover doesn’t mean you have to toss out everything (although, maybe you’ll still toss out your kitchen sink). Here at Red Rose Cabinetry, we’ll always be here to help you with your kitchen remodel—no matter how big or small. So today, we wanted to share a few of our favorite tips on how you can save a bit of money when you want to start upgrading your kitchen on a budget.

Change Your Sink or Cabinet Hardware

We did just mention that you don’t have to toss out your sink, but maybe it’s time to change up the faucet or hardware on your or cabinets.

Old hardware can make your kitchen feel dated. If you’re not quite ready to completely replace your cabinets, a quick solution is to change out the handles and drawer pulls. Adding more modern fixtures can really add to your kitchen makeover. The best part? You can probably find a new kitchen faucet and cabinetry handles that match!

Paint the Walls

Painting is not many homeowners’ favorite task, but we promise that painting walls can totally refresh your kitchen! With how often painting trends change, your kitchen likely has a dull or outdated color today. Choosing a newer, brighter color can make other features pop without breaking into that kitchen remodeling budget too harshly.

If bright isn’t your aesthetic, you can choose any color you like! Just be sure you bring home a few small cans to do some color sampling in your space. We recommend priming your walls first, and then painting a few tests on multiple walls throughout your kitchen. That way, you can see which looks best throughout the various times of day when the light is different!

Update Your Cabinets or Countertops
